Download Archivist Sort.

Version 2.3.0 · Apple silicon (arm64) · notarized & stapled. Intel Macs are not supported in 2.3.0.

Download, scan, review, and read your full plan — free forever. $29 once to execute that plan through Sort. The plan is free. The undo is the product. Your licence is verified on your own machine — no activation call, no seat tracking, no phone-home.

Install

  1. Open the DMG, drag Archivist Sort to Applications.
  2. First launch: macOS may ask for Full Disk Access to scan protected folders — the app explains exactly why and links you to the right Settings pane. Nothing is scanned until you choose a folder.
  3. Optional — local transcription: brew install whisper-cpp, or pipx install mlx-whisper / pipx install openai-whisper. The app finds Homebrew and pipx installs automatically. Sort works fully without transcription.

Your licence file

After you pay, your licence file arrives by email at the address on your Stripe receipt. Licences are issued by hand right now, so allow a few hours. Didn't get it? Reply to your Stripe receipt or email contact@centennialdefense.systems.

Then in the app: Settings → Licence, or Install licence on Execute. The picker takes a JSON file. Not a typed command.

Command line + AI agents (included)

The same engine, driveable from a terminal or by Claude, Codex, Cursor, or any MCP client — 43 tools. Read tools mutate nothing. Execute and rollback take a plan-bound acknowledgement, quarantine instead of delete, and are byte-reversible; an agent cannot execute on its own — the acknowledgement is the human's act. Normal scan/plan/execute sends nothing to CDS or cloud: the only egress is a gated offload you explicitly direct, which transfers only files you select to a destination or host you supply, and removing local originals after that verified copy is irreversible. Recovery is the default path, not a universal guarantee.

If you downloaded 2.1.0, replace both files. The 2.1.0 CLI read its policy bundle from a path that existed only on our build machine, so review, execute, and purge failed on every other Mac, and the agent kit failed with them. 2.1.1 compiles the bundle into the binary. The 2.1.0 desktop app was never affected.

  1. archivist-sort-cli.zip — the notarized CLI binary.
  2. archivist-sort-agent-kit.zip — MCP server + Claude/Codex/Cursor setup (SETUP.md inside; one dependency: pip install mcp).
